The purpose and mission of the Worship and Technical/Fine Arts Ministry at Cornerstone:

We are a people that love to worship! Here at Cornerstone we offer traditional and contemporary services that are designed to keep our worship of God creative, fresh and active. We believe worship is commanded of us biblically, it is active not passive, and out of our love and worship of God flows every other aspect of our Christian walk and our service. In other words, we are to live a lifestyle of worship!

We currently offer the following ministry opportunities:

Adult Choir- The choir is made up of people who love to sing and minister with their voices. The only requirements are the ability to match pitch and a willing heart! They rehearse Wednesday evenings from 6:45 to 7:45 P.M. and usually sing on the first and third Sundays of each month from September through May.

Cornerstone Worship Team– The Worship Team is a group of vocalists and instrumentalists who lead praise and worship in our contemporary service. This group is open by audition to qualified individuals who can regularly commit to Wednesday evening (8 to 10 pm) and Sunday morning rehearsals (9:45 am).

Drama Ministry– This ministry is open to all qualified people who feel called to help us experience the power of God’s truth through the use of drama.

Kidz Praize– This children’s choir is open to children in grades 1 thru 6 who enjoy expressing their love for the King through singing. They practice on Tuesdays at 5:30 pm and spend time in fellowship, fun and sometimes food - all this along with singing, of course! They participate in the worship services as scheduled. through the school year.

Technical Ministries– We are always looking for people to join our technical teams! This is a great behind-the- scenes opportunity to serve the Lord while helping to enhance the worship services for our congregation. We have a variety of opportunities available in the areas of sound, lighting, video and projection (this includes Powerpoint and Easy Worship).

There are also numerous opportunities for those qualified to minister in the areas of vocal and instrumental solos/ensembles, as well as pianists and organists.
